I have an old tascam mixer I am running it through and out of the tape outs or the line outs into the uca, and I also tried going directly in to the card with no luck. Intel [HDA Intel], device 3: I tried a few more things and it’s good to go so good for that. I suggest you use a music-oriented distribution. And after many hours I finally got the soundcard working fully. Select all alsamixer -c1. Just in case, check that levels in alsamixer if any are good.

I had to come off the line ouput on my console, not the tape outs. I could hear no sound, so, here’s the output Code: For 30 bucks this usb card sounds amazing. For the time being, find out what command and user owns the audio card.
I read some people were using this with some success, but I can only get it to playback and not capture from my mixer or guitar connected to the inputs.

UCA USB interface problems – Linux – Ardour
I get playback from the monitors, no problems there. Intel [HDA Intel], device 1: I don’t see anything else showing up in alsamixer besides “PCM”.

Still not getting any capture devices in alsamixer though, nothing in qjackctl either. The system reads it, and I have it set as my default soundcard behringwr instead of the intel8x0 onboard card.
