I will say though, that it appears to be an issue with the card or the OS, as I can track a neighbor’s wireless LAN with istumbler, however, when the card drops signal and I need to turn it off and on again it also looses track of the other WLAN. I believe the correct driver is installed because iwconfig reports data on the part. All of this disconnection business is reminding me of the horrible days of 56k, despite the fact that I can reconnect.

In windows, my wireless card can successfully find and have internet access to the router. On this board, it seems as though one persistent connection at a time? On this MoBo all I had to do was add the the new line containing and voila!
